Provitamin A (Beta Carotene): One of the best known carotenoids used which has amazing antioxidant properties and rejuvenating properties. Excellent at refreshing mature skin. Also  excellent at reinforcing and smoothing fragile hair types and helping split ends.  

Vitamin A Palmitate (Retinyl Palmitate): An excellent antioxidant which is actually found naturally in your skin where it works to protect skin from UV light exposure. When applied to the skin, it is capable of converting to retinol and afterwards reacts to skin enzymes to form the more potently active component - retinoic acid. Due to its potential to form retinoic acid, the benefits also include the ability to exhibit anti-aging properties as well and can counteract the appearance of dry, flaky skin. 

Hyaluronic Acid: Hyaluronic acid is a naturally-occurring substance in the skin. This skin identical ingredient mimics the composition of this naturally occurring element in the skin therefore increases the skin's ability to renew, refine & repair for an age-defiant complexion. Its restorative abilities can boost skin’s moisture content, soothe, & defend against moisture loss. It is capable of holding up to 1,000 times its own weight in water, making it an optimal hydrator for all skin types. In addition to its function as a superior skin-restoring ingredient, hyaluronic acid also provides an antioxidant defense against environmental assault. Researchers believe that hyaluronic acid leads to healthier, younger-looking skin: it strengthens and helps rebuild the unique microbiome on your skin. 

Coenzyme Q10: The human body naturally produces Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), a vitamin-like antioxidant necessary for cells to function properly. CoQ10 can be found in just about every living cell, but the amounts present in our skin peak in our twenties and begins to decline thereafter. As we age, our cell and energy production are greatly reduced; skin begins to demonstrate visible signs of this in the form of wrinkles, fine lines, and diminished firmness and elasticity. Studies show the antioxidant content of stressed and maturing skin can be dramatically improved through the topical use of Coenzyme Q10. Over time, this powerful antioxidant replenishes ubiquinone levels as it penetrates both the surface and deeper layers of the epidermis. CoQ10 functions as a free radical scavenger, greatly reducing oxidative damage from stress and environmental factors (such as UV irradiation) while maintaining healthy cellular levels.

Vitamin B3 (Niacinimide): A water-soluble vitamin that works with the natural substances in your skin to help visibly minimize enlarged pores, tighten lax or stretched out pores (improving "orange peel" textured skin), improve uneven skin tone, soften fine lines and wrinkles, diminish dullness, and strengthen weakened skin surface. It has the ability to restore skin's defenses against moisture loss and dehydration and reduces the impact of environmental damage because of its ability to improve skin's barrier (skin's first line of defense). Plus it plays a role in helping skin to repair signs of past damage. If left on its own with these issues, this type of daily assault makes skin appear older, dull and less radiant. 

ProVitamin B5 (DL Panthenol): A very hydrating ingredient known for its ability to attract and retain moisture. When topically applied, it converts to panthothenic acid, which is a naturally occurring substance within the body. Studies show that a small amount can increase skin's hydration, while decreasing transepidermal water loss (the amount of water that evaporates through skin). The result is an improvement in the way the skin feels and looks leaving a very supple appearance. It is also shown to reduce sensitivity induced redness in skin. A small amount applied topically can aid in healing and repairing the skin's barrier as well. 

Apply 3-4 pumps all over face, neck and decolletage area. Use morning and night on clean, damp skin. Follow with our Plum Beauty Oil/products/plum-beauty-oil to seal in the goodness.
