A serum is a daily treatment product. Most serums contain a higher concentration of potent vitamin and antioxidant rich botanical actives to target specific skin concerns such as hyperpigmentation, evening out skin-tone, dark spots or aging.

Traditionally serums are water-based and their molecule size is much smaller than oil and can be absorbed quicker and deeper into the dermis layer of your skin, making them extremely effective. Essential oils must be diluted in a carrier oil to be safe for your skin but their molecular structure is so minute, they can be absorbed as well, making them also very effective.  Our current Facial Serums are blends of botanical oils, macerated oils, oil-soluble extracts and essential oils. Serums contain highly-concentrated active ingredients whose molecules are much smaller so the formula can deliver those high-performance ingredients much further into the skin.  The benefit of serums is that they can work for all skin types.

Our oil based serums are created to attract your skin. Every single cell in your body has an outer layer called a cell membrane which is made up of 2 layers of fat. Your outer skin layer is made of a large amount of these cells membranes and therefore it is attracted to fat (lipophilic) and repels water (hydrophilic). These ingredients are made up of lipids and are lipophilic, which means they are attracted to other lipids and therefore, essentially attracted to your skin.

We wanted to offer powerful serums that could also be beneficial for all skin types, even those that are sensitive, blemish-prone, dehydrated or dry.
